About Me.
My career has been like a tree with many branches. I've held quite a few positions, most of them rooted in writing.
I spent a couple of years writing advertising copy for a boutique agency in Philadelphia, followed by a position in the in-house advertising agency of a Trump casino in Atlantic City, NJ. During my stint at the casino, I was involved in a multi-million dollar campaign to transform Trump's Castle to Trump Marina. I was responsible for print, radio, outdoor, direct mail, signage, handouts, marquee animation, public announcement, on-hold messaging and website copy. After Trump, I worked for a messaging on-hold company and managed over 100 national and local accounts. My career took a departure from writing full-time as I transitioned into web design. It was a natural progression for me, since I was always fascinated by all thing tech. I worked briefly for Unisys Corporation, hand-coding the front-end design of a local community portal. During that time, I kept writing for myself, having discovered the world of the writing competition. In 2013, I placed third out of almost 1000 participants in the NYC Midnight's Short Story Competition. It was a defining moment for me, when I realized that maybe, just maybe I have what it takes to be a writer. Since then, I've written armfuls of short stories, some screenplays, and one full-length fantasy/dystopian YA novel. In August of 2016, a short story of mine will be published in an anthology called "A Journey of Words" through Scout Media. Recently, I've added another method of storytelling to my repertoire -- audiobook narration. It's an exciting time for voice actors! We can record in our home studios and bring stories to listeners across the globe. I have samples available through the Voice Over Samples in the navigation above. If you would like to book me for an audiobook, contact me for further details. And thank you for visiting my site! |
